原來WM5默認没有打開電源管理這個功能, 修改註册表後，行打開電源管理，效果很明顯。

利用PHM Registry Editor改變WM5內置的power management設定 :

(1) [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\AsyncMac1\Parms]
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:1
修改為
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:0

(2) [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Irsir1\Parms]
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:1
修改為
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:0

(3) [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\L2TP1\Parms]
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:1
修改為
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:0

(4) [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\PPTP1\Parms]
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:1
修改為
"DisablePowerManagement"=dword:0


最後 SOFTRESET ! 大功告成 !

小弟用下載適合自regedit.Mrln_ARM.CAB，改完之後作測試---一整晚不差電，發覺真係慳到電，以前隔晚起碼無左2/3以上電力，但今早重有60%。此外，改完之後，記憶體多了！其他細節有待其他用家測試。

記得改之前做BACKUP先

記得要選對適合自己機種的才使用，至於6828用家，可以下面下載使用，記得改完之後，到設定→記憶體→執行程式中，停止用regedit先至soft reset。

Pocket Expense

I just upgraded my iPAQ to the Pocket PC 2002 OS, and PocketExpense Pro is showing me a balance of $10,000 and when I try to create an expense entry I get a "Database Creation Failed" error message.

This situation has occurred for a few people who have just upgaded their iPAQs to the new Pocket PC 2002 OS, and resolution is to delete the existing PocketExpense Pro database. To do so, use File Explorer from the ActiveSync panel on your Desktop PC to delete the file called,

"\Program Files\ScaryBear Software\PocketExpense Pro\pexpense.vol"

which is contained on your Pocket PC device. This will start you with a fresh, empty PocketExpense database file.

Remove Battery icon on the taskbar with clock.

O2 Xda Atom 的 O2 Plus 推出

O2 接連推出更新，繼ROM之後，便是為Atom再加上O2 Plus，這軟件如果是O2舊用戶一定不會陌生，這個新版本除了在介面上更美觀外，功能也比以前強化了，除了電話多款設定外，它也加入了快捷的程式啟動及管理元素。

在Today畫面中有更多的功能可在放入，如右圖所見，可以有上一通電話紀錄、電量、記憶容量、日程表、電話模式、電話服務提供商、日期及快捷功能鍵等，每樣也可以讓用家作細微的設定。

快捷選單，可以讓你知道甚麼程式正在執行，你也可以按一下便關閉它們。另外，還有常用的程式捷徑，當然你可以選自己喜歡的放在這表中。

O2 Plus已可以支援中/英文版的Atom，即是說將買新機的朋友，一拿回家便可以裝上這小巧卻功能強大的軟件了。

大家只需在Atom連線後，開啟O2 Connect便可以下載O2 Plus，不過要先在SeeO2登記，得到帳號才可以登入下載。

至於O2的較舊，仍在使用WindowsMobile 2003 (SE)的機款則未有此更新，不過筆者已得到內部工程版本，在O2 Xda Mini上測試中，相信推出日期不遠。

WinCE3.0 是微軟的Windows Compact Edition，是一個通用版本，並不針對掌上產品，標準PC、家電和工控設備上也可以安裝運行，但要做許多客戶化工作，當然也可以做掌上電腦。微軟鼓勵大家在任何硬體平臺(WinCE3.0支援5系列CPU: x86, PowerPC, ARM ,MIPS,SH3/4) 上使用，（為了和VxWorks,Linux等競爭）,Licence費用為$20 ,10Licence起，批量時大致能降到$15/Licence。

　　WinCE.net是WinCE的4.0以上版本，是WinCE3.0的升級，同時還加入.Net Framework精簡版，支持.Net應用程式的開發。

　　PocketPC 2002/2003/2003 SE是微軟制訂標準的掌上電腦“Pocket PC”的專用系統，在WinCE3.0上增加了許多特定的東西，例如專用用戶介面庫，還有專用應用程式如Pocket Excel。而且從PocketPC 2002起，只支援Arm系列的CPU。微軟為了限制OEM數量，Licence費大致是$18 ,OEM廠商需一次簽兩年合同，每年100K個Licence,就是說生產PocketPC先準備$3800K給微軟。 PocketPC 2003 SE 最大的改進是支援橫向檢視模式，讓ie和excel等程式在閱讀或編輯時與桌上電腦更為相似。

MMC(多媒體記憶卡，MultiMedia Memory Card)和SD卡(安全數位卡，Secure Digital Card)的分別很少，也很少人會留意到。現在為您多作一點介紹吧！

MMC的推出，主要是因為「體積」的問題。由於越新款的MP3機、數位相機及手機機型越來越小，CF卡和SmartMedia都讓人覺得太大了。MMC模組便告面世，標準尺寸是32x24x1.4mm，跟香港現行的郵票相當，只是比較厚一點點。外型的細小一直被譽為其優點，但同時亦因為這原因，粗心的人很易把它弄丟；另一方面，其穩定性一直給人懷疑。
繼MMC後，SD卡便發展出來。據其開發公司SanDisk稱，SD卡會把MMC取代，但就目前的情況而言，似乎還是SanDisk自源其說。SD卡外表與MMC完全一樣，若沒有打上SD兩個英文字，分不出也不怪；尺寸和MMC是一樣的，但所多了的是加密安全，版權保護，以及加進了靜電防護以提供更佳的穩定性。參與硬體開發的安全數位音樂聯盟(SDMI，Secure Digital Music Initiative)希望這種卡只能播放循正規配銷通路而出貨的內容。由於「數位版權管理」技術(DRM，Digital Right Management)確保了只有經過授權的資料才能儲存到卡片裡，因此使用SD卡的裝置用於儲存音效資訊便十分麻煩。
就用途來看，兩者都多用於小型的數位相機(Digital camera)及MP3播放機，新款的手提電腦及部分的行動裝置(Mobile device)多也搭配了MMC或SD卡插口。
SD卡在MMC插槽上是可以使用的，但加入了加密的SD卡便不能用。

為Pocket PC與PC之間資料通信同步用的軟體，CE 1.0的時代稱為CE Ecplorer 1.0，CE 2.x時稱為CE Service 2.x，CE 3.0出現後則稱為ActiveSync 3.x(簡稱為AS3)，只有3.1版以上才有支援使用USB連線的機種。現最新為ActiveSync 4.0，支援最新 WindowsMobile 5.0 作業系統。
